Doris Homer Real Estate, Inc. is a third-generation business founded in 1957 by Doris F. Homer, wife of Winslow Homer's nephew Charles, to serve the real estate needs of Prouts Neck and the surrounding areas. Doris was an active member of the real estate industry in greater Portland (serving as president of the Women's Council of Realtors), the dominant Prouts Neck realtor and pillar of the community. She is fondly remembered for her deep knowledge of Prouts Neck real estate, professional advice, highly personalized client service, dedication to the community, and her gracious style.

Since 1990, Doris’s granddaughter Lesley Perry Craig has owned and operated the agency and continues the legacy of providing clients with the same unparalleled proprietary real estate market knowledge, trusted and reliable guidance, highly confidential service, and natural warmth established by Doris.
