About Us
Doris Homer Real Estate, Inc. has been serving the real estate needs of the Prouts Neck community since 1957. We are the sole agency located in Prouts Neck and the only agency to provide both sales and rental services in the area. Our office is located at West Point House, opposite the Prouts Neck Yacht Club, and is open year-round by appointment.
Even when the summer residents are gone, and the cottages are shuttered for the winter, we are here on the Neck, preparing for the next summer's sales and rentals.

Our agency was founded by Doris F. Homer, wife of Winslow Homer's nephew Charles. Mrs. Homer was both an active member of the real estate industry in greater Portland, including President of the Women's Council of Realtors, and a pillar of the Prouts Neck community. She is remembered for her gracious and warm style, her intimate knowledge of Prouts Neck, and her many hats.
Today her granddaughter, Lesley Perry Craig, continues the legacy of service and commitment established by Mrs. Homer. Lesley has operated the agency since 1990. In addition to her real estate activities, Lesley is active on various Prouts Neck and greater Portland charitable boards. She lives year-round on the Neck.
